Opaque purple. Explosive aromas of black and blue fruits are transformed into notes of liquorice, Indian spices and flower oils. Rich and long, it has a good acidity that lends elegance. In the mouth, sweet blueberries and redcurrants mark the palate with persistence in a spicy, concentrated finish. Pair with rice from Pinoso (rabbit and snail), all types of roasted meat, cured cheeses.
A warm nose is a bit unsettled and strained due to high alcohol and full ripeness of Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon fruit. A heavy, almost soupy mouthfeel is almost over the line, while dark plum, blackberry and coffee flavors conclude on a finish that's so ripe and weighty that it's arguably lazy; drink only if rich and ripe reds are your thing.
