Bouchard Pere & Fils Beaune Clos Saint Landry 2011
|Region||France, Burgundy, Cote de Beaune|
|Brand||Bouchard Pere & Fils|
Beaune Clos Saint Landry suave aromas of fruit and flowers harmoniously blended with just the right touch of oak. This is a rich wine with expressive aromas and extraordinary smoothness. Good ageing potential.
This was the first vineyard bought by the Bouchard family, purchased in 1791. More than 220 years later, this 2011 has a delicate touch of wood nestled in the heart of creamy fruit flavors. Crisp lemon and tight acidity give a bright, fresh aftertaste. Drink from 2016.
Pale, bright yellow. Aromas of yellow peach, honey, vanilla and nuts. Round and spicy on the palate, with apple, pear and peach flavors enlivened by notes of stone and bitter lemon pith. Good fruity, easygoing wine with a slightly lean finish.
