Firmly in the savory camp, exuding rosemary, sage, juniper and eucalyptus aromas and flavors. Dense tannins form a solid matrix, while the finish is compact. Meaty. Best from 2022 through 2043. 2,500 cases made, 945 cases imported.

The 2013 Barolo is best enjoyed over the next few years at most. The flavors are delicate and lifted, but the fruit is a bit faded, especially for such a young Barolo. Dried flowers, herbs, mint and sweet tobacco add to the wine's ethereal feel.
