Bodegas Borsao Cabriola 2017
|Region||Spain, Campo de Borja|
This full-bodied version is balanced and well-knit, enlivened by racy acidity and a fragrant tang of fresh herbs, offering flavors of kirsch, toast, fig cake and smoke wrapped around taut tannins. Ends with a juicy, spicy finish. Garnacha, Syrah and Mazuelo. Drink now through 2029. 5,000 cases made, 2,000 cases imported.
This bright garnet wine has a nose of black currant, mocha and jalapeño. Savory flavors of toasted nuts, dried mountainside herbs and leather outweigh raspberry and cassis flavors. Midweight tannins dissolve into an herb-strewn finish.
Shimmering ruby-red. Pungent, herb-tinged cherry and red berry aromas and flavors and a touch of white pepper. Taut and focused, showing firm cut and a touch of mintiness on the nervy finish, which displays just a touch of dusty tannins.
