There are pleasantly herbal and seashore-like characteristics to the nose of this bottling, which offers aromas of green sage, kelp, cranberry, smoke and chiseled rock. The palate begins with baked red-cherry flavors before hints of leather and wild thyme arise, as sandy tannins hold everything together.

The 2020 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard is bright, punchy and full of character. Crushed red berry fruit, blood orange, spice, mint, star anise and dried herbs give the 2020 lovely exotic flair. This mid-weight, nervy Pinot from Cambria is all class.

Moving to the reds, the 2020 Pinot Noir Julia's Vineyard reveals a light ruby hue to go with solid aromatics of spiced raspberries, forest floor, exotic spices, and dried herbs. It's balanced, medium-bodied, has beautiful fruit, and would certainly compete with any number of appellation or village level Red Burgundies. It's a good value.
